Precisely Catering to the Upgrading Consumer Demand in the Middle East

Five High-Growth Categories Making a Spotlight Appearance

With the rapid urbanization and gradual completion of infrastructure construction in the Middle East, the market focus is shifting from 'nation-building' to 'lifestyle upgrades.' Household consumption is accelerating from basic functional needs toward quality, experiential, and aesthetic enhancements. Consumer goods related to home furnishings, decorations, and gifts are becoming the most stable and fastest-growing core sectors in the Middle East.

To meet the real market demands of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, this exhibition precisely covers the five high-growth sectors of home consumption—household daily necessities, kitchenware, beauty and personal care products, outdoor leisure and sports products, as well as gifts and office supplies. It focuses on a product structure that is ‘practical, scalable, and easy to repurchase,’ promoting efficient matching of supply and demand and helping Chinese enterprises quickly enter the Saudi market.

Exclusive Procurement Meeting

Opening the Door to Saudi Arabia's Key Buyers

As an important platform for China-Saudi business and trade exchanges, the exhibition will concurrently hold over 600 one-on-one precision procurement meetings with major buyers. These meetings will bring together representatives from trade associations and top industry procurement decision-makers, helping Chinese enterprises efficiently reach key clients, shorten decision-making chains, and accelerate order conversion.

It is noteworthy that on December 21, the organizing committee, in collaboration with Saudi leading home retail company SACO STORE, held the 'SACO Exclusive Procurement Matching Meeting' at its headquarters in Riyadh. This is the first time SACO has opened its full-category procurement decision-making team to high-quality Chinese suppliers.

As one of the most influential home retail platforms in the Middle East, SACO imports approximately 3,300 containers of goods from around the world each year, with as many as 2,200 coming from China.

This matchmaking meeting was personally led by SACO's Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Makram, and involved in-depth discussions with high-quality Chinese suppliers such as Hangzhou Meige Trading Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Naidu Supply Chain Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Aoqun New Materials Co., Ltd., Jiangmen Shengwei Home Group Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Qiao Industrial Co., Ltd., Pujiang Yikeyou Home Products Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Jinpan Import & Export Co., Ltd., focusing on product compatibility, localization needs, and long-term direct procurement cooperation. Selected companies are expected to gain access to SACO's online and offline omnichannel network through a B2B direct procurement model, obtain a 'quality endorsement' in the Saudi market, secure large-scale orders, and take a crucial step in going global with their brand.

From 'understanding' to 'smooth conversation'

AI empowers seamless dialogue in China-Saudi Arabia trade

AI technology has become the core driving force for breaking trade barriers and enhancing matchmaking efficiency at this year's HOMELIFE Saudi exhibition. Leveraging the deep integration of the “AI Smart Exhibition” system and AI glasses, a fully intelligent end-to-end loop has been built, from real-time communication to long-term follow-up, precisely addressing language and management challenges in cross-border business.

Specifically, to tackle the prominent Arabic communication barriers in Sino-Saudi trade, the system has deployed two major innovative solutions:

01 Deeply localized buyer-seller AI Agent assistant: The built-in “TradeChina Assistant” AI Agent is not just a simple translation tool, but an intelligent agent with full-process Arabic comprehension and interaction capabilities. Fully embedded in local language habits and business contexts, it can autonomously carry out demand analysis, product promotion, and professional Q&A, making communication both accurate and natural.

02 Real-time seamless dialogue intelligent hardware: The Miaorante AI glasses, equipped with real-time translation in 128 languages, are specially optimized for Chinese-Arabic foreign trade terminology conversations and support offline usage, ensuring smooth communication even without internet access. During buyer-seller discussions, the system simultaneously transcribes, translates, and records key points, with the AI assistant guiding the entire process to ensure zero errors in transmitting inquiries, quotations, and specification confirmations, achieving the leap from "understanding" to "closing deals."

In addition, quick check-in channels were set up at the exhibition, allowing buyers to scan a QR code to enter a three-way intelligent chat with the buyer, exhibitor, and AI assistant. The AI Agent instantly recommends matching products based on real-time needs. After the exhibition, the system automatically generates personalized follow-up plans, combined with visual data dashboards, helping exhibitors clearly manage business opportunities and achieve a "data-driven, fully controllable" intelligent trade loop, significantly enhancing exhibition conversion rates and long-term cooperation efficiency.

The exhibition will continue for another 2 days.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates~
