From May 14 to 16, 2025, the 4th Vietnam-China Export Brand Joint Exhibition and Vietnam HOMELIFE Expo was successfully held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam. As China's largest trading partner in ASEAN, Vietnam has become a strategic springboard for Chinese companies to deploy diversified markets in the context of global supply chain reconstruction. The holding of this exhibition not only provides a "window to go overseas" for Chinese brands, but also an important platform to promote trade exchanges and cooperation between China, Vietnam and ASEAN countries.

The scale has increased by 25%! Made in China "rushes into" the Vietnamese market

This exhibition is hosted by the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, co-hosted by the Pingyang County People's Government, and guided by the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, MEORIENT, and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce. The exhibition area is 15,000 square meters, with a year-on-year increase of 25%. It gathers nearly 500 exhibitors from 44 cities in 12 provinces including Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Jiangsu, covering thousands of new products in the home and gift industry, including household daily necessities, kitchen and dining daily necessities, beauty and personal care, outdoor leisure and sports, gifts and office supplies, etc., presenting the most cutting-edge market development trends of home and gift in all aspects, providing buyers in the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets with a rich selection of products and a one-stop purchasing experience! This is not only a grand event to showcase China's innovative products, but also a strong engine for Chinese companies to expand into the global market.

A strong alliance! A new blueprint for China-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation

Under the dual challenges of the deep adjustment of the global supply chain and the fluctuation of the US tariff policy, Vietnam has become the core hub for Chinese companies to explore the Southeast Asian market by virtue of its geographical advantages, rapidly growing domestic demand market and highly complementary industrial chain with China. During the exhibition, Binu Pillai, Chief Operating Officer of Miolant International Exhibition, and Tran Ngoc Liem, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, signed a joint statement. The two sides will jointly promote economic and trade exchanges between the two countries, organize mutual visits and exchanges between Chinese and Vietnamese companies, and strive to promote and enhance the scale and influence of the HOMELIFE Vietnam International Home Gifts Exhibition. This is not only an upgrade of cooperation, but also a symbolic step for China-Vietnam economic and trade exchanges to reach a new height!

Hot scene! Vietnam opportunities are booming

Nearly 30,000 professional buyers visited the exhibition, covering manufacturers, brands, designers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce and other Vietnam and neighboring countries. The strong buyer group went there enthusiastically, proving the strong demand of Vietnam as China's largest trading partner in ASEAN.

At the exhibition, many domestic and foreign trade companies actively explored emerging markets. The person in charge of Hangzhou Weikun Daily Necessities Co., Ltd. said: "In order to reduce dependence on Europe and the United States, we chose to explore the Southeast Asian market. The Vietnam exhibition exceeded expectations, the buyers on site were active, and we have gained more than a dozen high-quality customers!" The person in charge of Fuji Yali (Suzhou) Trade also shared: "The Vietnamese market has great potential, and we will take it as the first stop for overseas expansion. The exhibition was very popular, and we have connected with dozens of professional customers, and will focus on development in the future."

It is worth mentioning that the HOMELIFE exhibition specially organized more than 100 closed-door matchmaking meetings for major buyers, and worked with local mainstream business associations and large buyers in Vietnam to build an efficient communication platform for both supply and demand sides, helping Chinese companies to deeply explore market opportunities and promote Chinese brands and ASEAN buyers to build closer economic and trade ties.

Debut! AI glasses become a "magic weapon" for exhibitors to attract customers

As an important measure for the construction of RCEP digital trade infrastructure, the "AI Smart Exhibition" system pioneered by Miolant was first applied at this exhibition. The comprehensive application of this system enables hundreds of Chinese exhibitors to achieve accurate customer acquisition and efficient negotiations, marking another milestone in the transformation of traditional exhibition formats by intelligent technology.

Before the exhibition, "AI Smart Search" and "AI Smart Writing" were used to accurately discover buyers and generate multilingual marketing letters; during the exhibition, "AI Smart Translation", "AI Smart Note" and "AI Smart View" functions were used to resolve language barriers and record negotiation points in real time; after the exhibition, "AI Smart Customer" was used to intelligently diagnose customer value and drive long-term growth, bringing a new digital exhibition experience to companies.

At the same time, exhibitors and buyers can be seen everywhere wearing AI smart glasses (Huizhanjingling) to have conversations. This wearable glasses device, jointly developed by Miolant and Li Weike Technology, supports real-time translation between 120 languages including Vietnamese, AI noise reduction and automatic generation of meeting memoranda, greatly improving negotiation efficiency.

This innovative model will be quickly replicated in major RCEP markets such as Indonesia and the UAE in June. By 2025, it is expected to help more than 10,000 Chinese companies achieve efficient and intelligent overseas expansion.
