"If you don't go abroad, you’ll be out of the game" is a popular saying in the home furnishings industry today. Going international is becoming a consensus within the industry.

In recent years, the enthusiasm of foreign trade professionals for expanding into Indonesia has only increased. As the largest economy in ASEAN, Indonesia accounts for about 40% of the region's population and roughly 38% of its market share. The country's significant population advantage, market potential, and steady economic growth over the past decade have made it a focal point of international market interest.

With the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in Indonesia, trade barriers between China and Indonesia have been further reduced.

For foreign trade enterprises, the Indonesian market is definitely one that should not be missed!

The two sides have kept close high-level exchanges, continuously deepened strategic mutual trust, and advanced the building of a community with a shared future. The China-Indonesia Foreign and Defense Ministers’ 2+2 dialogue mechanism was officially launched last week. This week, Foreign Minister Wang Yi will co-chair the fifth meeting of the bilateral cooperation joint committee with Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi. The high level and strategic nature of China-Indonesia relations are increasingly evident.

Mao Ning introduced that next year will mark the 80th anniversary of Indonesia's independence and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia. Both countries face significant opportunities in their respective development and bilateral relations. China is willing to work with Indonesia to follow the strategic guidance of the heads of state, with the goal of building a community with a shared future as the main theme. China aims to continue deepening all-round strategic cooperation, creating a model of joint self-strengthening, unity, collaboration, and win-win cooperation for major developing countries. This will not only seek greater well-being for the peoples of both countries but also contribute to global peace, cooperation, and development.

Recent progress in Indonesia's capital relocation.

The first full cabinet meeting was held in the new capital.

August 17th is Indonesia's Independence Day. This year, for the first time, the “Archipelago Nation” held simultaneous ceremonies in Jakarta and the new capital, Nusantara, to celebrate Indonesia's 79th Independence Day. The development of Nusantara, as the new capital, is expected to involve an investment of approximately $32 billion and is currently progressing steadily.

Additionally, the construction of the new capital will require substantial infrastructure investment, including in transportation, housing, public services, daily necessities, home decor, and consumer goods, which could stimulate the development of related industries.
