The first day of the 2023 Turkey HOMELIFE Expo was a great success
On September 7, 2023, the 8th Turkey Homelife Expo grandly opened at the Istanbul Exhibition Center. This exhibition is one of the highlights of Sino-Turkish trade and cooperation, as well as an important stop for Chinese companies seeking development on the Eurasian continent. The exhibition, spanning three days, brought together quality exhibitors and professional buyers, creating endless business opportunities.
The Turkey International Home and Gift Exhibition is a significant China-organized exhibition in Turkey, attracting the attention of various media outlets. It was attended by notable individuals from both China and Turkey, including Mr. Wu Jian, Deputy Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Istanbul; Ms. Zhao Lan, Second-Level Researcher of the Trade Promotion Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Provincial Committee; Mr. Bino Pile, Chief Operating Officer of MIORLANTE International Exhibition; as well as members of the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK).
Representatives from Turkish industry associations such as the Turkish Housewares Association (ZUCDER) and the Federation of Housewares & Kitchenwares (EVFED) were also present at the HOMELIFE Expo.
The exhibition received support from numerous brands, and Turkey is considered one of the world's emerging economies, known for its rapid development. It is a member of the "Economic Security Council" and the Group of Twenty (G20). The percentage of home products imported from China to Turkey increased from 28.5% in 2017 to 32.5% in 2021, highlighting China's growing competitiveness in the Turkish home market. For Chinese companies, the Turkish market is undoubtedly an important destination that cannot be ignored.
At the exhibition, a continuous stream of buyers visited, and exhibitors showcased their latest products, including high-quality and innovative household daily necessities, kitchenware, beauty and personal care products, outdoor leisure products, and pet supplies. The professionalism and attentive service attitude of the exhibitors received praise from the buyers, leading to the on-site conclusion of multiple purchase orders.
